Bay Building Group was referred to Reedify by their external IT partner at the time, due to significant ongoing frustrations for complex billing issues. The CEO had recognised that telecommunications made up a disproportionate amount of their annual fixed expenses and the business had been trying to work with their Service Provider for several years to remedy the issues and identify a more cost appropriate solution. Ultimately, following several years of continuous issues and losing faith that their service provider / account managers had their best interests in mind, BBG asked for specialised help.

Reedify conducted their Historical Forensic Analysis of all billing over the previous 36 months, to ascertain the scale of issues and put together a complex billing resolution programme. Reedify identified more than $250,000.000 incl GST of over charging that had occurred and detailed this within an issue register and report document for BBG to review. Secondly, Reedify identified significant opportunities for savings through renegotiating agreements that the Service Provider had failed to properly implement. Reedify proposed that through the resolution of the issues, they will also look to guarantee a 30% reduction with the aim of achieving upwards of a 50% total reduction each and every month.

Working with the Service Provider, Reedify presented their findings within the issue register and quickly resolved the 40+ items that were non-compliant and creating excess charges for BBG – the entire issue resolution was managed by Reedify, BBG did not require any further resource allocation while issues were being resolved and they were rewarded with the full $250,000.00 incl GST identified. Following this, Reedify renegotiated updates and benchmarked pricing with the same Service Provider (without requiring a recontract) which average a monthly reduction of $32,853.10 incl GST (48%) over a 36 month period. Over the entire life cycle of the engagement between Reedify & the client, BBG have now accumulated more than $1,050,000.00 incl GST in overall savings and nearly $500,000.00 incl GST in issue resolution credits.
